Central location with plenty of parking.

The welcome, temporary staff on who did not understand booking systems and insisted on payment before booking in even though, as it turned out, we had already paid.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast and Wifi Internet that I must say worked very well. Too many times you might book a Hotel that advertises this only to find out it is very limited or doesn't work at all. Thank you.

My particular room was a little dull, only had a small window. But not really a problem and also you have to remember that this is a very old building.

The hotel was perfectly situated and very nicely decorated / furnished. We have been to quite a few market town weekend breaks and this really was the best hotel we have stayed in within this price bracket. The rooms are well looked after, nicely fitted out and everything you would want. What really made the stay however were the staff. Somehow we ended up booking the night before we wanted to go, the manager was completely fine about changing it after ringing to see where we were! On the night of our stay, we came back and really fancied some food and even though the kitchen was closed, the same manager happily cooked up some late night treats for us! In every way I would recommend staying here, a great place and excellent service. They could do wi

They could do with classier sausages for the breakfast as everything else was in a much higher league!

The staff were very friendly, the building is lovely, the restaurant was excellent (we had breakfast and dinner), and the high street where the hotel is located is very charming. There were fresh flowers in the hallway leading to our room, and I think all of the rooms had recently been refurbished. It was great value for money.

Dinner was good & reasonably priced. Car park is a bit tricky to get into ,probably has been since the 16th C. Free WiFi.The restaurant has greatly improved since my last visit several years ago.

My room was a bit noisy with the dray unloading fairly early. Also a lot of late night chatter outside. Nothing you wouldn't expect in any market town. Free WiFi could be improved, good in the restaurant, poor in the room.

I had the most superb Sea Bass at my evening meal. It was as good as I had eaten at Raffles. Wonderfully central it was being repaired and improved but stiil a good place to stay. Wine list was outstanding too.

Very friendly staff and a lovely room. Perfect location right in the centre of the town. Excellent facilities with both a bar and a restaurant and breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this to friends and would definitely stay here again.

Lots of noise coming from the high street. The first room that was assigned to me, was on top of the kitchen, so there was a strong noise and vibration from the extractor and a smell of food.Moving to the 2nd room, it was smaller and with the window to the high street which proved noisy!

Clean and comfortable, in an attractive old town. Great food.

Noisy at night, street noise, a delivery of barrels below my window at crack of dawn plus a loud engine/fan of some sort running all night. Price a bit steep for a room in a pub.

Helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent meals. Easy access to all Malmesbury facilities especially the Abbey and Abbey Gardens. Parking most useful. Ver enjoyable stay and we shall return.

The beer was well kept and included the local Bath Gem and Timothy Taylors Landlord. The breakfast was freshly cooked using good ingredients (great mushrooms!). The staff were very friendly and obliging. It was really useful to have private parking right in the centre of Malmesbury and although we found the room rate a little expensive it was reasonably competitive. Extremely convenient location.

Difficult to access the carpark. Refurb work in progress - but I'm sure this would be temporary. It would be useful if breakfast times could be more flexible.

The Hotel is an old coaching inn, whilst it has been fully renovated and modernized it retains it's character. Excellent breakfast.
